Introduction
According to COPE guidelines, all submitted manuscripts undergo thorough review. An assigned expert editor decides which articles to publish, ensuring compliance with copyright, legal, and plagiarism standards. Once approved, articles are published immediately and remain online permanently, unchanged unless withdrawn under rare and specific circumstances.
Reasons for Article Withdrawal or Retraction:
a) Ethical Violations: Breaching ethical codes results in article withdrawal.
b) Multiple Submissions: Submitting the same article to multiple platforms.
c) Plagiarism: Use of plagiarized content.
d) Unethical Data Use: Misusing data.
e) False Ownership Claims: Making unreasonable copyright claims.
f) The editor has the authority to withdraw articles in these cases.
Article Removal:
An article will be removed if the editorial team finds tampered or false data. This ensures the integrity and accuracy of published information.
Managing Conflicts of Interest:
Conflicts of interest arise when external factors affect the manuscript’s objectivity. These can occur at any stage: writing, experimentation, or publication. Conflicts should be declared to aid the review process. If an author has biases, they should report them when submitting the article. Editors may request modifications to ensure fair review and shield authors from unfair criticism. Undeclared conflicts discovered post-publication can lead to retraction. The goal is to maintain honesty and publish accurate information.
